As far as controls go, It should be obvious on how to navigate around the menu and at least provide a clear place to find directions in-game. If you have to spell everything out in the author comments for people to understand, then that means the menu system isnt nearly intuitive enough. There's no reason why the menu part can't be done using buttons or a more intuitive method of navigation such as arrow keys. Also it may help to include the control layout in the menu as well, so people do not have to bring it up in-game unless they just need a quick check of the controls.

As for the game itself, it's good but nothing great. I'm sure everyone will be highly impressed by synj's artwork, but art alone isnt enough to make a game good. This could really benefit from some kind of back story or at least more or different objectives to accomplish. This game is great for about the first 5 minutes until it becomes repetetive and tiring. The visuals and sound are cool, but this game could really benefit from something extra. Bottom line is that it seems to have little re-play value. To give my honest opinion, This is not something I would come back here to play on a daily basis.

not really sure if i liked the mooninites thing that much.... probably would have enjoyed it better if they had a non-speaking cameo.

also i'm not sure about the ATHF-ish opening/closing things you've been doing... part of me wants to enjoy them because they're humorous, but the other part wants to loathe them because the whole format is so blatantly unoriginal.

also i'm not quite sure of the raster image you've been using for the TZ thing... it seems out of place. I know you're heavily affiliated with TZ ... hell i knew about you from way back in the day when the ASMB actually wasnt a steaming shithole...(a very long time ago) but to me the TZ thing just seems like needless advertising rather than supporting the plot.

overall i like this series so far, tho i think with a few changes it could be even better.

you have the beginnings of what could be a great game.. reminds me of marble madness from back in the day. I think overall the graphics have to be a bit better, and there needs to be a few different challenges, as well as a few bugs to work out.

people already pointed it out, but it bears worth repeating especially if you're gonna do more of these music vids.

the fingers go on the neck of the guitar... they dont hold onto the head.... it just looks incredibly odd that way, the vid would have been much better without this error.

"Love the Halloween series"

I remember seeing this before on your site, and I gotta tell ya... Halloween has got to be my favorite horror series ever... from way back to the first with young jamie lee curtis. They always have an incredible amount of suspense and drama overlaying a great story.

I think you managed to pull off a lot of the little nuances and details that are characteristic of the movies, from the overall feel of things, right down to some of mikey's mannerisms.

... but the game gets real old real fast.

How about dreaming up a game that doesnt require constant hammering of a key + a little bit of jumping.

The only thing that serves to make this difficult is the foreground objects obscuring the view.

I would have enjoyed the game more if it had more substance such as even a half-assed storyline or some sort of goal/mission. Fun for the first time, but then like i said it gets boring.

When I saw the first one, I liked it quite a lot... but as usual, I didnt expect anything great to follow... then you hit us with a solid solid animation in short #2 (hell yeah petey), and now this! I'm quite impressed with the overall quality, and love the kind of skill it takes to make something like what you've done. Keep up the good work

Cowboy Bebop is known for it's great music as well...otherwise this wouldnt have been half bad. for future reference, you need to compress your audio in mp3 format(flash will do it for you)
